Here we go with the 2nd part of the ACC-wall-building for beginners. It was suuuuch a long day (did I mention this already!?) and after the first few rows 2 teams emerged from all the people left on the site. (the core-workers on this saturday were: Martin, Anja, Schorsch, Jantschy and me)
First Schorsch and Anja teamed up. They had such a good time (Anja hit her head on a hammer handle while she was laughing so hard at Schorsch’s dance moves) but they didn’t only had the hell of a good time but have been also really fast and careful builders.
Second team was Martin and Jantschy. Also a dreamteam, as they know each other for such a long time and get on pretty well together. (they are both super exact and accurate – I called it the MONK-Team).
As for myself it crystallized that I’m more the casual laborer… I pepared the blocks, measured and cut them to the right size. (after that day my forearms looked like I’d tried to kill myself with Ytong.. they have some pretty rough edges – I’ll tell ya!)
Jantschy got creative with finding some possible ladders… we don’t call him “the professor” for nothing!
It got pretty sweaty dealing with all the heavy blocks..
Thank you Anja for those beautiful photos you snapped every once in a while during the day! (love the one of Jantschy glimpsing over the wall! just perfect!)
